The company behind the network.
Ring is the licensed carrier that designs, operates and monitors a 100% IP infrastructure from San José, Costa Rica. We don't resell and we don't outsource the core: every call, message and megabyte travels over a network that is ours.
We started with the wires.
In 2019 we applied for a telecommunications license from SUTEL — not to resell minutes, but to build our own network, wire by wire, route by route, call by call.
Today, Ring® operates a 100% IP core with redundant POPs in San José and Virginia, direct interconnection with the National Telephone Network (SNT) and peering at CRIX. On top of that base run the services used by wholesale carriers, enterprises and businesses across the country.
We believe a country's critical infrastructure should be operated with transparency, evidence and accountability. That's why we hold our own license, own our ASN and stand directly behind every SLA we sign.
